Navigate to Asset Hire along the left hand side and select the dropdown.
Select "HIRE REGISTER"
This will present an overview page of all the current Hires and which stage they are at. The Hire Register will record the progression of a hire from a Quote through to a Completed Off Hire.
The Hire Register will also track whether a Quote has been won or lost, along with any action items required throughout the hire process.

The tool bar at the top of the page provides different filtering options.
Each Hire has a unique Hire number along the left hand side.
Note: This is auto generated by VIPER and can not be edited.
By clicking the Hire number, the hire will open to display all hire information.
At the bottom of each Asset within a Hire, there is a scroll bar that provides more information about the hire.
There are also collapsible sections along this with additional information.

Each hire will begin with a Quote.
The Hire Register will track whether a Quote has been won or lost, along with any action items required throughout the hire process.

Once your quote has been created, emailed to the client and won, it is time to award the Quote in VIPER.

Getting an Asset ready for a hire encompasses a number of tasks.
Refer to the article below for the process required.
Next, ensure you record the SMU of the Asset at the time of the On Hire, this will be flagged as an action item and highlighted in yellow.
Once you select the "NO DATA", a pop up will appear. Enter the date of the last known SMU reading. If VIPER has a reading for this date, it will show in the blue information bubble, otherwise you will need to enter this information in.
Throughout the entirety of the Hire, you will need to track the following:
Events: Keep Track of any downtime Events throughout the Hire.
End of Month: Complete EOM throughout the duration of Hire.

When the Hire comes to an end we will need to Off hire the Asset.
Click on the "On Hire" / "On Hire - Hold Over" button.
The following window will pop-up. Select the "Off Hire Asset" button.
VIPER will prompt you to update the project. Follow long with the pop-ups to complete this.
The Hire will now show as "Post Hire", the two action items required to move this to "Completed" are the; Off Hire SMU Hours and the Off Hire Inspection.
Enter Off Hire SMU hours.
Upload or link Off Hire Inspection.
Once all the tasks associated with this hire have been completed, you can now select the "Mark Complete" button.
NOTE: Until all task have been completed the hire will stay in "Post Hire". Any Assets associated with this will not be available for new hires or further action until this hire has been marked as "Completed".
This hire is now completed and the Assets can be assigned to different hires as needed.
