The Shift Report acts similarly to the Utilisation Report, see the below article for more information.
The main difference between the two is the Shift Report pulls information from one or two shifts in a day where the Utilisation Report aggregates data over two periods with a focus on utilisation.
To begin, select the "OPERATIONS" dropdown under menu, and select "SHIFT REPORTS"
The date will automatically fill to today's date and day shift.
To change the date, select the calendar icon, and choose the relevant date.
To change the shift, select the drop down and select "Night Shift".
Important: You have the ability to select both Day and Night Shift, however if Assets within the Project do not reflect this in the "Expected Utilisation", Data will not be accurate.
Next, select the relevant Project by selecting the dropdown icon.
Select the search icon to pull the below Data.
The first column will show the Asset. Following, will be the shift date and the shift type.
The start and end SMU Hours will next be shown, including the Operator who carried out the Prestart and the total shift SMU. To view the Prestart, select the icon to the left of the Operator's name.
If any Events were created, total Event hours will be presented as well as the shift hours below it.
The first coloured block is referencing the percentage of Asset Availability. This is based off of any Asset downtime from Events.
The second coloured block is referencing the Utilisation of the Asset. This is based off of Prestart information. Typically, if optimal usage is carried out, this will be around 85% but must take into consideration travel time and operating and safety breaks.
To add shift notes, select the downward facing arrows.
Next, select "+ ACTIVITY ROW".
Fill in the text fields, and select the save icon on the right.
Below is an example of how a logged Event during a shift will be presented.
From this, we can see that the Event was for a 250 Hour service. The Event was open for 10 hours, only leaving the Asset to 16% Availability. Within that 16%, 0% of the Asset was Utilised during this shift.
