There are two main ways to upload Documents to VIPER Metrics, through the Asset or the Documents tab.

Tip: If a Document is related to an Asset, it is best practice to upload via the Asset.

Uploading a Document from an Asset.

To link a Document to an Asset, navigate to the Asset Register page and select on the relevant Asset.

Next, select the sixth icon along the top task bar to view the available Documents.

This page will show any Documents that have already been linked to the Asset.

To upload a new Document, select the "+ DOCUMENT" icon at the top right hand corner.

Next, fill in the empty text fields and dropdown options from top to bottom. The click the "Tick" at the bottom to save.

IMPORTANT: If your Document has an expiry date, ensure to select the square box and enter the date of expiry. This will ensure VIPER Metrics will flag this in yellow, and the expiry date will be visible when browsing Documents.

Tip: If you can't remember what Asset you were wanting to link this to, VIPER would have prefilled the Asset under the "Select Related Asset(s)" question under the "Optional Specifics" section.

Tip: You can select more than one Asset if the Document relates to multiple Assets.

Important: If selecting an "Asset Type", this Document will be added to ALL Assets of that Type.

The Document will now be visible under the Asset's Documents tab.

Uploading Documents from the "Documents" Tab.

You can also upload Documents through the Documents tab under Menu.

This page will show all available Documents, which you can filter through the search fields located at the top of the page.

To upload a new Document from here, select the "+ DOCUMENT" icon at the top right hand corner.

Next, fill in the empty text fields and dropdown options from top to bottom.

IMPORTANT: If your Document has an expiry date, ensure to select the square box and enter the date of expiry. This will ensure VIPER Metrics will flag this in yellow, and the expiry date will be visible when browsing Documents.

Tip: You can select more than one Asset if the Document relates to multiple Assets.

Important: If selecting an "Asset Type", this Document will be added to ALL Assets of that Type.

Once you have completed all the information, select the tick at the bottom.

The Document will now be visible under the Documents tab.
