Cost Codes are not required in VIPER, but they are required in Xero. If a Cost Code is not set up in VIPER, the system will default to using “200”.
Note: You will require the "Edit EOM" permission.
Begin by navigating to "Company Settings".
Scroll down until you find the Account Code section.
Enter the Cost code name as reflected in Xero.
Enter the Cost Code number as reflected in Xero.
Add the Cost Code just created.
Save the Cost Codes.
