Note: You will require the "Edit Defects" permission to access the functions listed below.
It is recommended that managing Defects should start from the Ops Dashboard.
Any Assets that have an Out of Service Event created, will have the card showing in red.
Assets that have not had a Prestart completed, will have a “0” shown on the card.
Assets that have had a Event created from the Prestart, will have a “1” shown on the card.
NOTE: The colour of the "1" indicated if an Event was created.
Green - indicated no Events.
Yellow - indicated an Event.
New Defects that have been created will be shown in the New Defects section. Select on the Defect Number to view a Defect.
A popup will appear, review all the Defect information.
If there are any photos of the Defect, this will be available from the “Attachments” tab.
Once reviewed, the category of the Defect may need to be changed. Do this by setting the correct defect category.
If the Defect is a Category 1, an Event will need to be created which will flag the Asset as Out of Service. This can be done directly from the Defect, or from the Asset itself.
